What we say matters. Believe it or not, what we think matters nearly as much. In Psalm 19, the Lord makes it clear why this is true.
The saying goes, “You are what you think you are.” There’s even a Proverb that confirms this isn’t a manmade adage.
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he

Jesus taught that the words that came from our hearts had the power to defile us (Mark 7:15). That’s strong language.
How is your thinking today? Are you thinking positive, God-honoring thoughts?
What we think has a way of finding its way to our tongue. And then we hurt others or embarrass ourselves.
Words have power. Let’s use them to give glory to our amazing God and lift up other people.
